Who we are

Rearguard® ("we") provides live video assistance for road and everyday incidents through our mobile application and website.

Data we collect

To provide the service we collect: your name, email address and account details; your country and region (to show correct pricing and local guidance); audio and video of assistance calls (recorded for your protection and as a record of what happened); your device identifier (to protect your account); and, optionally and only during a call, your GPS location (shared with the assistant for your safety).

How we use it

Your data is used exclusively to operate the service: connecting you with an assistant, recording calls as evidence, managing your subscription, and preventing fraud or abuse. We do not sell your personal data.

Recordings

Assistance calls are recorded and stored securely. Recordings are accessible to you on request and to our operations team for quality and safety purposes only.

Payments

Payments are processed by Google Play. We never see or store your card details.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us from the email registered on your account.
